Illinois already complies with federal civil rights regulation, state superintendent says

Illinois’ colleges chief pushed again towards the Trump administration’s demand to certify that faculty districts are eliminating variety, fairness, and inclusion applications, saying the state is already in compliance with federal regulation.

In a letter on Wednesday, State Superintendent Tony Sanders challenged the U.S. Division of Training to show which applications and actions violate federal civil rights regulation and to determine “unlawful DEI” actions.
